Our global media team is at the forefront of media underwriting. We have one of the broadest and most diverse books of business in the industry, working to provide solutions for media and creative companies worldwide. You will consider media businesses insurance needs from a holistic perspective by writing multiple classes of insurance including Media Liability, Errors and Omissions, Cyber and Commercial Combined. You will cross sell and work with multiple specialist underwriting teams around the business in order to help build programmes for our clients. You will be involved in all aspects of underwriting including writing new business and ensuring renewals as well as developing long-term broker relationships. You will work to grow your technical underwriting and business development skills in order to become a trusted advisor and respected specialist underwriter within the Media and Creative industry.

UNDERWRITER - CYBER

The Underwriter’s role is to work closely with the Team Leader on business for US and London based / Lloyd’s brokers. The role will require the candidate to have a background in underwriting (not necessarily cyber focused) and the ability to be an efficient business developer. Day-to-day, the Underwriter would focus on writing accounts up to $500M, but will also need to be able to work on more complex risk structures and underwrite affinity programs.

This is a technology driven role, predominantly within a Microsoft SQL server and web-based architecture environment, including ASP.NET MVC and web forms and an agile development team. From day one you’ll be exposed to a wide range of technologies and have the opportunity to work in a small, dynamic and hugely ambitious team.

COMPLIANCE MANAGER

Reporting to the Compliance Director, the Compliance Manager will act as the Group-wide contact for all legal, compliance and corporate governance matters, with a broad and varied mandate covering international licencing and tax queries, delegated underwriting compliance, sanctions and financial crime, corporate governance, and data protection. The Compliance Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to the Group’s internal customers (including underwriters, claims handlers and product developers), as well as to the Group’s carriers and other business partners, adopting a positive, ‘can-do’ approach to solving complex regulatory enquiries. The Compliance Manager will also deputise for the Compliance Director, as required.
