UNDERWRITER - UK TECHNOLOGY

Our UK technology underwriting team is at the forefront of underwriting UK SME emerging technology risks and has enjoyed rapid growth over the last few years. The available role is in addition to a team of five dedicated UK technology underwriters all focused on achieving above market-standard growth, developing new and existing broker relationships and delivering profitable underwriting returns. The available role is for a new and renewal business underwriter. You will consider submissions for technology businesses domiciled in the UK and be able to offer a cross-class package policy solution including E&O, Cyber, Public & Products Liability, Employers Liability and Property. You will be expected to be able to manage a volume of submissions every day whilst also contributing to broker development. All underwriters are expected to operate as business development underwriters and an ambassador of the CFC brand, this will involve regular travel in the UK. The role will involve regular interaction with brokers as well as UK domiciled clients.

UNDERWRITER - MEDIA

Our global media team is at the forefront of media underwriting. We have one of the broadest and most diverse books of business in the industry, working to provide solutions for media and creative companies worldwide. You will consider media businesses insurance needs from a holistic perspective by writing multiple classes of insurance including Media Liability, Errors and Omissions, Cyber and Commercial Combined. You will cross sell and work with multiple specialist underwriting teams around the business in order to help build programmes for our clients. You will be involved in all aspects of underwriting including writing new business and ensuring renewals as well as developing long-term broker relationships. You will work to grow your technical underwriting and business development skills in order to become a trusted advisor and respected specialist underwriter within the Media and Creative industry.

UNDERWRITER - CYBER

The Underwriter’s role is to work closely with the Team Leader on business for US and London based / Lloyd’s brokers. The role will require the candidate to have a background in underwriting (not necessarily cyber focused) and the ability to be an efficient business developer. Day-to-day, the Underwriter would focus on writing accounts up to $500M, but will also need to be able to work on more complex risk structures and underwrite affinity programs.

EVENT MANAGER

As Event Manager, you will be responsible for CFC’s global events strategy, including CFC bespoke marketing events, partner events & tradeshows, as well as internal company events. In this role, you will deliver high quality, interactive event experiences that generate increased broker engagement and bring the CFC mission and story to life. DISTRIBUTION ASSISTANT

CFC Underwriting’s central distribution function is responsible for distribution strategy and management, broker relationship coordination, new product launches, sales capability, and major broker events. The team works closely with all of CFC’s underwriting teams to deliver the new business budget and with the marketing function on major events including the CFC Broker Academy and BIBA, so interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders is essential. The Distribution Assistant will support the Distribution Director across all areas of CFC to help deliver the annual Distribution plan, providing day to day administrative support, managing key projects and supplying management information and analysis.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

The Product Development Manager will be responsible for managing product and wording projects across the business, with a strong emphasis on identifying all stakeholders within CFC and keeping these stakeholders engaged at all appropriate stages of the project. The Product Development Manager will also assist the Products Director with the strategic planning and development of CFC’s product portfolio. This will include working with Underwriting and Claims teams to monitor the performance of product coverage, identifying opportunities to drive innovation, conducting and facilitating competitor and market analysis, and extracting actionable insights from our internal data. With over 50 CFC products across multiple business lines, the Product Development Manager will be managing a large number of projects and stakeholders at any given time. As Product Developer you’ll create and maintain CFC product wordings and application forms for multiple business lines, provide a quality support service to underwriting teams for product related enquiries, prioritise and draft policy endorsements, and work with internal stakeholders to deliver product projects on time and in line with business requirements.
