LIFE SCIENCE UNDERWRITER
This is a high profile underwriting role which involves profitably developing and underwriting risks on the US side of the Life Science account. Within this role you will be assisting in the development of broker relationships, ensuring appropriate pricing & profitable underwriting. Where warranted the candidate will be offered the opportunity to travel with the sole intention of developing new business leads and premium growth opportunity. Whilst undertaking this role you will be expected to work closely with the team leader in all aspects of book development including assisting in the management of the overall Life Science portfolio, product development, competitor wording analysis and other general support where required.
TRANSACTION LIABILITY ANALYST
To provide operational and analytical support to the Transaction Liability team. CFC’s transaction liability department is a fast growing team underwriting a wide range of risks related to mergers and acquisitions, including warranty and indemnity, R&W and contingent tax insurance.
UNDERWRITER - CANADA PROFESSIONS
The Underwriter’s role is to work closely with the Team Leader in all aspects of underwriting in the Canada Professions team, which includes new business and renewal underwriting, answering broker queries and business development.
UNDERWRITER - CRISIS MANAGEMENT
The Underwriter’s role is to work closely with the Crisis Management team. Focus will be on driving new business and building the broker network as well as the day to day underwriting of Product Recall risks.
ASSISTANT UNDERWRITER - CRISIS MANAGEMENT
The Assistant Underwriter’s role is to work closely with the Crisis Management Underwriters, developing prospects and assisting with the underwriting of Product Recall risks.
The role of the Claims Adjuster will involve working closely with CFC colleagues within the Claims team as well as within the Underwriting, Finance, IT (NERD) and Products teams whilst being subject to all relevant legal and statutory (including FCA and Lloyd’s) requirements and obligations.
CLAIMS PROCESSING TECHNICIAN
The preferred candidate will have experience of technical claims processing, preferably in a London Market environment. The role includes the processing of claims payments and reserve movements as well as the overall management of claims financials, monthly bordereaux and loss funds. The chosen candidate must demonstrate an ability to meet strict deadlines and a willingness to enforce best-practice procedures. Good communication skills are also essential, as the role involves liaising with internal CFC teams as well as external contacts at Binding Authority Brokers and Lloyd's Syndicates.
