CFC’s roots go back to the first wave of dotcoms in the late 1990s. Then known as, we sold some of the very first online commercial insurance policies in the world. But, like many dotcoms, our plans were a little ahead of their time, so we rebranded as CFC Underwriting and became an MGA.

CFC is majority owned by the management and staff with a minority investment from Vitruvian Partners, a private equity firm.

We aim to be the most highly regarded specialist insurance provider in the world. We believe that we can achieve this by providing a remarkable customer experience through constant innovation and relentlessly driving change in our markets.

But that’s hard work and it’s only possible because we have a real passion for our business and because we are obsessive about the quality of our products, service and systems.
